InnProBio Market Dialogue and Workshop

Bonn, Germany
On the 25 April in Bonn, the InnProBio project is organising a workshop and a market dialogue on the public procurement of innovative bio-based products.

The workshop will be considering case studies, tools and criteria for the preparation of tenders for biobased products procurement.

The interactive market dialogue session of the event is intended to identify obstacles in the procurement of biobased products and services related to public tenders. A dialogue on biobased products and their requirement will also be held between product suppliers and public purchasers. The language will be German.

Third Major eafip Event on Innovation Procurement

Tallinn, Estonia
The 3rd Major eafip Event will take place in the Kosmos IMAX in Tallinn, Estonia, on 17-18 October 2017. The event targets procurers, policy makers, procurement law firms and businesses and aims to raise awareness about major ICT-related innovation procurement initiatives across Europe and to facilitate networking between stakeholders to discuss new ideas, initiatives and funding opportunities.

The event, co-hosted by the Estonia Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications, will offer public procurers the opportunity to present proposal ideas, discuss with relevant EC officials and network in view of the preparation of these call.

Circular Procurement Congress

Tallinn, Estonia
On 19 October 2017, the second international Congress on Circular Procurement, co-organised by the European Commission (Directorate-General for the Environment), the Estonian Presidency of the EU, Rijkswaterstaat from the Netherlands and ICLEI- Local Governments for Sustainability will take place in Tallinn, Estonia.

The objectives of this congress are to:
- deepen knowledge and encourage implementation of circular procurement showcase good practices, latest research and tools
- stimulate unexperienced organisations to start with circular procurement
- discuss the role of circular procurement for innovation and meeting other policy goals
- encourage networking on circular procurement.

The congress targets:
- Policy makers for national and local governments and public bodies
- Public procurers and budget holders
- Companies involved in circular procurement.
