Public sector modernisation through innovation procurement

A driver for growth and jobs in Europe

Platform of European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation (EGTC) is hosting an afternoon briefing to the EGTC platform on public sector modernisation through innovation procurement as a driver for growth and jobs in Europe.

Highlighted will be the Lombardy Region and Italian examples, namely de-risking regional and European investment for innovation to implement innovation procurement.

The afternoon will be opened by Alfonso Alcolea, CoR administrator in charge of the EGTC with speakers Vasileios Tsanidis from the European Commission, Innovation Unit, DG Communications Networks, Content and Technology, and Sara Bedin from the Innovation Procurement expert for the Lombardy Region and the Italian Government.
